  Navagraha Sthalas By Air
  Navagraha Sthalas is situated in Thanjavur district, located in and around. Suryanarcoil is situated 15 km away from Kumbakonam. Thingalore is located 3 km from Thiruvayuru.   LOCATION OF THE TEMPLE: Sri Naganathaswamy Temple- the stalam of Kethu Bagavan is situated in Keezhperumpallam. Of Naggapattinam district. Tamilnadu India. It is located 6 kms from Thiruvengaadu (Budan Sthalam) enroute to Poompuhar.

  HISTORY OF THE TEMPLE: Keezhperumpallam is also called Vanagiri. Kethu bagavan prayed to Naaganaadhaswami and was blessed and rid of his sins by Lord Siva. It is rare to find Kethu with his head.

  At this sthalam , he can be seen worshipping Naaganaadhaswami with his folded hands held high. Rahu after taking nectar was torn by Lord Narayana. The head portion joined with a snake body and became Rahu Bagavan.The body portion that was thrown away fell in Pothigai

  mountain region. This was found and preserved by a Brahmin. The body grew, because of having nectar and the head of a snake got attached to the body to become Kethu. Kethu Bagavan has the head of a snake and the body of an asura .
  This is the temple for Kethu Bagavan, among the nine planets. The temple is under renovation, and devotees can soon expect this temple with elegance. Knowledge, business, leprosy, poisonous bites are the aspxects of kethu planet.
  AUSPICIOUS TIMES: All days are special, Abishekam to Kethu Bagavan is performed daily by 8.30 a.m. Prodhoshams are very special occasions.
