If we of think our bodies, the way we think about temples, we would do a better job of taking care of ourselves. Temples are places that bring to mind peacefulness and cleanliness. I have visited many temples and they all have been extremely well care for. This is the way we should treat our bodies. We must take the time to pay close attention to its needs on every level. When we take care of our bodies with such care we will be much happier and more fulfilled. The creator Yahweh has indicated in the scriptures that this practice can increase our life span.

Also, maintaining the body temple includes eating well. The body must have a certain amount of nutrition to operation properly and to look well. For example, the skin will become dried, thin, and brittle and ***** if the body is not supplied with a certain amount of nutriments. The hair will thin and fall out if the body is not feed well. The teeth of a under fed body weaken, stain, and fall out. The main point here is to maintain our body and to do this, we must eat well.

We also have to exercise to keep our temple running well. The body requires some kind of activity to keep things working well. It is just like a car engine. No body jumps in and starts a car and immediately takes off, if they do, they won’t get far before they have car problems. Our bodies are the same way. We must exercise daily in some form. Here are some examples of exercises see the following: walking to the park, gardening, farming, jogging, basketball, construction work, swimming, tennis, golf, walk to the store, mall walking, skiing, baseball, and the list goes on and on. We must make it a priority to exercise everyday to keep out temple running well.

Perhaps, one the main keys to maintaining our temple is to have mental discipline. When we have discipline, we are able to consistently take care of our body. Mental disciple will allow us to focus on the importance of taking care of our temples. How do we maintain the mental disciple? We maintain this need mental discipline by practicing the following habits: reading, meditation, scripture reading and other kinds of daily positive mental activity.

In conclusion, when we live correctly, peacefully and loving our body will radiate healthiness. Our bodies love peace and quiet; it allow them to rest. Any kind of stress, strain and unrest negatively affects the body. If we are able to practice all the things we may do a little better in maintaining our body temples.

Cheap Netbooks
