Schalck j asked:
After the entries of the French Revolution which spread all over Europe, such as Louis XVIII had leaked the prison of the temple. Napoleon has been ordered to destroy the settings of the newspapers for the next day. There is a family in Belgium, who says he is descendantes of Louis XVIII. What if this is true, believe the world was finally ready to take it in public?

And Grand Duchess Anastasia, and…conspiracy theories. Or, in these cases, the hope of the royalists, that there might just possibly, be some hope of resurrecting their party…or their royals.
It simply isn’t true! I’m pretty sure they buried him.

I doubt that he escaped, poor boy,and even if he did it is not likely that he would have lived very long, I believe he was already showing signs of suffering from tuberculosis, the disease that killed his older brother. I doubt he would have lived long enough to father any children.

I doubt those rumors are relevant because as of today, there is a pretender to the French throne:
Louis Alphonse of Bourbon is the legitimist pretender of the French crown and would take the name Louis XX if reigning. He is currently the Head of the House of Bourbon, and also holds the following titles of nobility:
Duke of Anjou, Duke of Burgundy, Duke of Touraine, Duke of Bourbon, King of France, King of Jerusalem and King of Navarre.
Does that mean France will go from republic to monarchy again?
I seriously doubt it, but if that ever happens, then Louis Alphonse of Bourbon would probably be the one who claims the throne….
There is also a current dispute because there are 2 other pretenders to the french throne:
-Prince Jean-Christophe Louis Ferdinand Albéric Napoléon (born 1986) is a claimant to headship of the House of Bonaparte.
-Prince Henri Philippe Pierre Marie d’Orléans, comte de Paris, duc de France (born 1933).

It doesn’t really matter- I’m sure he’s not alive today.
