when my high school put on this musical i was one of the apostles and a leper, and i have to say the Leper scene is exceedingly difficult to sing. There’s no time to breath and its hard to stay together as a group as the tempo speeds up. Love it though

I saw this as a little kid ,a local station showed this and Ben-Hur as “Easter special” .Both Leper scenes were so “special “,it was years before I saw either film again.I thought if I ever got sick I would be sent off to live in a cave with other sick special people.After three months I finally told my dad
