The Middle East.

Palestine is what is known as Israel. It was eliminated in 1948 for the creation of Israel. The US does not recognize any such country as Palestine. And, yes, it is in the Middle East, in Asia, right at the intersection with Africa, neighboring, Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon.

It is usually identified as Asia; the entire middle East area is really a connector between Europe, Asia and Africa but it is properly part of the Asian continent.

There is the near east, the middle east and the far east
Look on a map and decide for yourself where Israel/Palestine lay
