Opinions are subjective.. I think his voice is good, you think it’s not. this arguing is pointless.

Frist off, **** you; I’ll speak when I want to. This site has the ability for people to post comments which means hey here’s my opinion or a fact that I’m stating, so deal. If you don’t like read you damn owners manual on how the back button and close button in an internet explorer window work, I’m shure it will teach how to close the window. Cobain’s voice wasn’t grunge, his lyrics were; and in the words of Jerry Cantrel pertaining to Cobain “Great lyrisist, but god he was a shity musician.”

Your shitting me right? Eddie Vedder sounds like a goat being ***** in the *** hardcore, his voice is so shaky and bitchy sounding. Pearl jam’s songs are good (threw up in my mouth typing that) but vedder needs an attitude adjustment, he fronts a successful band but ***** at singing, he can’t do anything else but act like a bad *** and be rude to fans. Throw your shoes at vedder, he loves them.

I read a lot about Cobain and Nirvana too, but I have never heard of that.
Sure, Grohl’s drumming is something very important in music, but I don’t believe he wrote the guitar and bass parts. I think I remember hearing an interview where Cobain said he was writing riffs and melodies alone and then sent tapes to the rest of the band.
anyway, if you have a link to your sources for saying that, please post it here

I loved Cobain’s angst – it was passionate and real and it came through loud and clear in his voice…
April 27th, 2009 at 11:01 pm
God I would love to have his voice…
May 1st, 2009 at 2:24 am
But that’s not the point. Sure those guys could really sing but it’s like comparing Robert Plant to Johnny Rotten, or Joe Strummer. They could sing enough to pass, but not enough to impress. Cobain was the same, he made great music, and his singing suited it just fine.
May 4th, 2009 at 2:21 pm
I agree, Weiland, Staley, Vedder, and Cornell were all miles ahead of Cobain’s singing..
May 7th, 2009 at 7:29 am
Cobain didn’t have an awesome voice, sorry to tell you that. Great lyrisist but he had a shity voice. Oh and to your statement of not hearing anybody scream pain like him, have yiou ever heard Shawn Morgan from Seether scream? It sounds the same whiney as **** and fucking annoying on top of it. Now when it comes to Cobain I love the music he was apart of, but his voice was horrible.

hmm i’m a big nirvana fan, i’ve read books, studied biographies, even got a tattoo of in utero’s wings.. i’ve never heard that… do you have a link to the information or something? i’d like to read up on it.
May 9th, 2009 at 9:01 am
Grohl actually wrote 90% of their music, Cobain wrote the lyrics. They made a great music together, but Grohl wrote most of the actual music. Thats all I was saying with my frist statement.
May 11th, 2009 at 3:29 am
how was it Grohl that made Nirvana music influential? I’m curious about that statement.. you seem to be very sure like you know something the rest of us don’t. so plz share?
