ah, i also think this is one of broderick’s weaker performances, if any of you use torrents, find the hershey 06 or 07 show, amazing

i think this is the best song of their set. everyone uses it as a bathroom break but i love it

i love the way broderick sings it, i hated the west coast version at first but it grew on me. I still prefer broderick but ill listen to both with a huge smile on my face

I think it was the little brown dog that was pissing on the fire hydrant outside the bar that sang the song ..And the daughter was so impressed she ran off with the dog and had puppies …

No, Tommy Farese does’t sing it on the CD. He’s the dad of the girl who’s standing outside the bar. Therefore…he can’t be the drunk in the bar watching this story unfold.

I too prefer the CD version, the voice the song was conceived with.

I beg ti differ with you on that. Steve Broderick has the best voice for this song. He’s the one they should have used on the CD.

okay then people… thanks alot for taking my previous comment as an insult
-the guy sings it well, but his voice just isn’t the right one for the song

the person that they have singing with the West Coast tour couldn’t make the recording because he was in NYC in a broadway show

I got to go see these guys for the first time in Hamilton this year. We started off with awful seats but then a couple ushers came up and moved us all the way down to the front row right infront of the stage. and when they played this song.. not a single person was making the slightest noise. I was completely captivated and mesmerized by the song. Truely was a fantastic show and will definitely be seeing them next year.

This song is the heart of Christmas Eve and Other Stories. It’s an opera, so you need to know the whole story. If you haven’t visit the TSO website and find the story for the opera.

Quite a matter of opinion (better musicians). If you don’t believe that a group that finds its roots in NYC wouldn’t offer “The Garden” the cream of the crop, you just don’t get it.

might i like to add that one of my mom’s close friends is the singer for this song for the west coast TSO group (the one with the better musicians)

check it out, Alex S. i saw his trio open up for Rodrigo Y Gabriela. the trio isnt as good as testament or tso. they did jazzy versions of popular metal songs, it was pretty kick *** though.

This IS the greatest Christmas song ever…unfortunately this guy is destroying it! Get the original version from the CD or download it. I believe that Tommy Farese sings it. You will have a much greater appreciation for the song when you here his gravely voice…it is truly amazing. Don’t waste your time on this HORRIBLE version.
