(Jim Webb is a similar kind of choice that might appeal to him). He has alot to choose from so who knows. I do not think he will pick Hillary however...unless he was for some reason forced to put her on the ticket. John Edwards did have a considerable following, so it isn't completely out of the question, I think Barack Obama would love to tap into John Edwards appeal (although I don't know that he would need it, Barack Obama is pretty popular on his own). I was thinking about who would complement Barack Obama best and I keep coming back to Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius. She came into the reddest of red states, and won the governorship as a democrat, appealing to moderates. She was previously the state insurance commissioner, and since taking office, she used progressive change to get the state out of its massive operating deficit. I think she lines up to Barack well, not to mention she could get him much of the votes Hillary would. Essentially I think he'll pick somebody that he thinks he can work with, and I just don't know that John Edwards is the best choice that is completely congruent with his message of change.
