The distance is somewhere between 25 to 30 KM depending on the route by Auto and the fare varies Between 250 to 3000 rupees to & fro ( half a day).by Auto 3 setter
To the best of my knowledge the temple timings are 06-00 to 12 noon & 4PM to 9PM

The distance is about 30 KMs from Trichy. You can get buses from Chatram bus stand and the frequency is good. Depending on the traffic, the journey may take about an hour to hour and a half one way.
The temple will remain closed from 12.30 PM to 4.00 PM
