You can spend your time in great resorts and experience great cultures. But if you want to experience distinct culture then Thailand or Indonesia would be the best choice. You can choose Malaysia if you want to get the lovely nature experience. Philippines offers you a new different alternative, they have Boracay as their famous beach/ resort experience. Amanpulo resort as suggested by Matt is truly great as it is part of the ultra luxury Aman Resorts chain but very expensive indeed. Vietnam's Halong bay or Cambodia's Siem Reap also great if you are looking for a nice, quiet yet traditional atmosphere. All the destination mentioned offers you great romantic honeymoon experience, the key is to know what your specific passion and find the good valued 5 stars resort Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia are great and easy destinations.
