Singapore is a city…Indonesia is an oil rich country,,,guess..Singapore fell to the japs during WW2 because it sits on an peninsula and was easy to cut off and strangle..

Indonesia is huge, it would be difficult to see how Singapore (basically a single city) could win. I also don’t think Malaysia would sit by and let Indonesia have a toehold on continental Asia once Indonesia’s belligerence has been establish.

indonesia aid – well the countries that are the closest to them and maybe da uk and usa after it been on the news – only cause it’ll give da countries a good image though.

Singapore would kick their ***. They have a Singapore Air and they could convert these to bombers and bomb Indonesia with bombs purchased with all the money they have. Indonesia has a bunch of ferry’s that take people from one island to the next but about once a week a ferry sinks. They have no way to attack Singapore. Malaysia would help Singapore.

Why are you coming up with this retarded question. I though americans didn’t like war?! And I am not saying any other countries do not either. I just find it very interesting that people sit down and try and compare countries when the world does not support the conflict we are now?

If Indonesia were to invade Singapore I think it would be possible for Indonesia to overwhelm Singapore by sheer numbers. But they would have to be very determined. The cost in body count would be horrendous. Singapore has the best equipped force in the region. And the troops are well trained. And it has loads of resources within and without the island.
But neighbouring countries and even countries like US would not sit by and allow Indonesia to keep Singapore.
I cannot think of a reason why Singapore would want to invade Indonesia (and the reverse is true) but if so, Singapore would not be successful due the land, number of people and so on. But if were just 1 to 2 islands… Very possible.
